PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

An Era of Elegant Tension

Yan Denes renders this moment with his signature dry pastel and black stone technique. His artistry captures the unique feel of early Formula One: the quiet intensity of Giuseppe “Nino” Farina, calm and composed behind the wheel, and the graceful tension of the car itself.

The open cockpit and exposed suspension reflect an era that was both elegant and unforgiving. This work is available as a strictly limited-edition print, created from the one-of-a-kind original artwork.

The Curator's Notes: The Story Behind The Legend

CLOSING THE HISTORIC LOOP

This piece captures a profound moment in motorsport history. The driver is Giuseppe “Nino” Farina, the first-ever Formula One World Champion, crowned in 1950. That same year, he won the very first F1 Grand Prix at Silverstone.

By 1953, Farina was racing for Ferrari. This artwork depicts his return to that same circuit, Silverstone, now at the wheel of the Ferrari 500 F2. It signifies a historic loop closing: from the first champion to a Scuderia driver, racing once again on the track that started it all. It is a tribute to Farina, Ferrari, and the track where Formula 1 began.
